Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Health PBM Operations Manager to optimize client PBM operations, develop data-driven strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead a team of consultants, define KPIs, and guide technology implementations such as claims processing and analytics to improve outcomes.

The role requires at least 5 years in PBM operations and 3 years in health-industry consulting with a technology focus; travel up to 80% is expected as client needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PBM operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience within the health industry with a focus on technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of clients' PBM operations to identify areas for optimization and growth
• Develop and support implementation of data-driven strategies that align PBM operations with client organizational goals
• Apply pharmacy regulations and industry best practices to guide client compliance
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve PBM operations, including claims processing systems, data analytics, and automation tools
• Manage technology implementation workstreams and support integration into clients' existing operations
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with clients, support performance improvement plans, monitor impact, and recommend adjustments to enhance outcomes
• Coach and direct a team of consultants and analysts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
• Stay informed about health industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in pharmacy regulations, and share insights and best practices
