Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Health Navigator to act as a liaison to physicians, staff, affiliate physicians, and callers, providing referrals and expediting appointments based on symptoms and needs. You will gather client information, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accurate scheduling of services.

You will work closely with the Access Center Manager and Director, assist in interviewing and training new staff, and develop reports while maintaining the Access Center database.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of healthcare experience
• Managed care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to coordinate a multi-line telephone system
• Excellent written communication including grammar and spelling
• Strong computer skills and database maintenance

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to physicians, staff, affiliate physicians, and outside consumers for referrals
• Schedule appointments, procedures, tests, and diagnostic services
• Enter data and maintain the AtlantiCare Access Center database
• Provide exceptional customer service and protect client confidentiality
• Assist in interviewing and training new Access Center staff
