CannonDesign in Charlotte seeks a Health Market Leader to steer growth, client engagement, and team development. You will build and execute the market business plan, align service offerings, and champion Living-Centered Design across client touchpoints.

You will mentor staff, drive profitability, and pursue new business with select clients, while maintaining strong partnerships with office leaders to deliver high-impact projects and shape the firm’s health practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required.
• Current Registration/Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience with proven growth, leadership, and business development in Health Market.
• Strong presentations skills are essential.
• Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
• Strong business acumen and ability to create and execute strategy.
• Professional maturity and authentic communication are essential.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams; some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the health market for the Charlotte office and develop the market business plan; align services and outcomes.
• Grow top line by pursuing new clients and strengthening existing relationships; target top-line growth.
• Mentor and coach staff; foster diversity, inclusion, and leadership development.
• Stay informed on market trends, best practices, and evidence-based design; drive market differentiation.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet profitability targets (10% annual market profitability).
• Integrate design services across disciplines and manage processes to deliver results.
