Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Health Information Technology Specialist to support integration of cardiovascular brands into EHR systems across priority US accounts. The role focuses on identifying gaps, addressing barriers, and enhancing patient care and end-user experience within both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years designing, building, and/or testing with EHR software (Epic/Cerner/Meditech/McKesson) or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare IT and software optimization techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps/barriers in EHR systems at priority accounts and propose solutions.
• Solve EHR gaps and rework workflows to improve patient care and data flow.
• Collaborate with end users, clinicians, IT and informatics teams to derive insights.
• Align resources and develop comprehensive customer plans by account.
• Conduct workflow assessments to identify care gaps across patient journeys.
• Share insights to optimize EHR use in inpatient, outpatient and ED settings.
• Act as SME across internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Support population health initiatives through EHR data and analytics.
