Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Health Information Technology Specialist to support EHR integration across priority accounts, driving adoption in cardiovascular brands in the US. You will identify gaps, propose scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care and population health.

Requires 4+ years in design/build/test with EHR systems and strong communication skills. Travel overnight is expected; Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
Minimum 4 years in design, build, or testing with EHR software (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson preferred).
In depth knowledge of healthcare IT and software build/optimization techniques.
Ability to discover issues, prioritize, and solve to resolution.
Team player able to work in a matrix environment.
Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

Identify potential gaps/barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
Problem solve and provide solutions and resolution of EHR gaps.
Identify workflow barriers and recommend scalable solutions.
Work collaboratively with customers including end users, clinicians, IT informatics, quality EHR managers and analysts to provide insights to enhance patient care.
Align resources to develop comprehensive plans by priority institution.
Complete workflow assessments to identify gaps in care across the patient journey.
Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans.
Act as SME to internal and external stakeholders with matrix partners across account management, medical, and cross-functional teams.
Share insights around optimizing EHR systems to address gaps in patient care across Inpatient, Outpatient, and ED.
