Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support Agile software development for federal and commercial Health clients. You will independently lead requirements activities, partner with technical and business leadership, and contribute to delivery success in an Agile environment.

You will own complex requirement efforts, translate needs into clear artifacts, and collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on software development projects
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Translate business needs into technical artifacts (user stories, workflows, data requirements, APIs)
Experience leveraging data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks

Responsibilities

Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation for Agile software initiatives
Translate complex business needs into testable user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria
Partner with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog
Serve as primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Define and document functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, integration, scalability)
Support testing, defect triage, and user acceptance activities
Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery reporting
Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge within the team
