Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a technology business analyst to collaborate with business and technology teams, translate needs into clear requirements, and drive delivery through an Agile approach.

You will create user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria, while facilitating workshops and supporting testing. Travel up to 10% and the role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technology business/ systems/ product analyst role
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing business and technical requirements
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile practices, and product delivery
• Ability to analyze complex problems and turn them into practical, well-defined solutions
• Experience creating process flows, data flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfort working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
• Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology teams to understand needs, define priorities, and translate them into clear requirements
• Analyze business processes, systems, data flows, and pain points to identify opportunities for improvement
• Create user stories, functional requirements, process maps, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and solution reviews
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, QA, and project managers throughout delivery
• Support testing by developing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating issue resolution
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve technology solutions and business outcomes
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
