Job summary

HonorHealth’s Health Information Management team seeks a detail‑oriented professional to process patient health information, handle release of information requests, and ensure records meet regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Training is on-site for four weeks, then a remote option is available for Arizona residents who meet productivity standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, scanning prep, indexing, and collaboration with departments to safeguard confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience in a high-volume environment.
• 1 year experience in release of information, correspondence, master patient index maintenance, records analysis, or medical records processing (preferred).
• RHIT certification preferred.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes medical records for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, clarity, and indexing.
• Reviews ROI requests for validity and privacy compliance, and fulfills requests via mail, CD, or electronic means.
• Prepares and scans records, verifies names and accounts, and indexes documents in the EHR.
• Participates in department safety initiatives and completes required safety competencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
