Job summary

A leading health organization in Colorado is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health information management, leadership experience, and proficiency in electronic health records. Qualifications

• 2 years of Health Information Management experience in an acute care setting.
• 1 year of leadership/management experience.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in health care compliance, particularly HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily HIM operations including personnel management and training.
• Develop and implement strategies and procedures for HIM.
• Participate in strategic planning and maintain regulatory readiness.

Knowledge of ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology
