• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all staff.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and accurate.
• Excellent computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to travel to all Delaware Hospice locations as needed.

Job Details

Job Location: Milford - Delaware Hospice Center - Milford, DE, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Delaware Hospice is actively seeking a part-time Health Information Specialist. This is a part-time role working 20 hours a week to include every other weekend.

The Health Information Specialist is responsible for providing clerical and computer support to Inpatient Center clinical staff in the provision of hospice care and services. Assumes responsibility for the quality control of clinical data entered into the patients’ medical record. Functions within established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
