Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the medical record through review, scanning and data entry.
• Track and resolve record deficiencies by coordinating with staff.
• Support physicians with electronic dictation and documentation processes.
• Manage retrieval, printing, scanning, logging and distribution of records for authorized entities.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policy.
• Provide professional service to physicians, patients, families, and care team; assist with on-call record retrieval.
