Qualifications

• Four years of healthcare experience; two in HIM.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records requests and locate clinical documents in the EHR.
• Validate HIPAA-required elements and legal authority of requestors.
• Process subpoenas and court orders for proper release of information.
• Maintain EMPI integrity and coordinate chart corrections.
