Job summary

CorrectHealth seeks a Health Information Coordinator in Alpharetta, GA to manage HIM and ROI operations, ensuring compliant disclosure of PHI across Georgia and Louisiana facilities.

The role reports to the Director of Health Information Management and supports privacy program administration, records governance, and litigation hold processes. A RHIT/RHIA credential or progress toward it is required, with a minimum of three years of HIM experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA credential (AHIMA) required, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Minimum of three years of experience in health information management, release of information, or privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HIM and ROI operations across Georgia and Louisiana sites.
• Ensure lawful, documented, and auditable disclosures of PHI and privacy incidents.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy program and assist with training and governance.
