Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Manager Health Information Operations to lead system-wide HIM functions, including deficiency management, document imaging, and record retention.

You will manage staff, design workflows, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission), and collaborate with physicians to ensure complete and timely documentation while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years and Bachelor's degree in HIM or healthcare related field OR 5 years and Associate's degree in HIM or healthcare related field.
• Experience with HIPAA and other federal rules, Oklahoma state laws, and CMS and Joint Commission requirements for health information management.
• Experience using computer systems and EHRs in health information management.
• Health language literacy with the ability to locate and interpret information on forms and documents in clinical information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages department staff, including hiring, scheduling, training and evaluating performance.
• Designs and evaluates workflow to meet KPI standards and productivity targets.
• Prioritizes work for timely retrieval of patient records for audits and research.
• Ensures compliance with record retention and destruction policies and oversees related activities.
• Collaborates to develop and implement quality and training programs for HIM operations and imaging processes.
