Signature HealthCARE's Danville Centre for Health & Rehab seeks a Health Information professional to oversee medical records, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a liaison for staff and leadership. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely documentation, and secure retention across the facility's records lifecycle.

You will coordinate record requests, support audits, and participate in QAPI initiatives while applying RHIT/RHIA concepts and EMR systems such as MatrixCare.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• RHIT or RHIA credential preferred.
• 2+ years in health care facility Health Information Management.
• Knowledge of legal, ethical, and professional practice standards for Health Information Management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' medical records throughout the care lifecycle.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness, security, and regulatory compliance of records.
• Assist in audits and QAPI reporting; identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate all record requests and respond to approved medical record requests.
