Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Professional Services Coder and Coding Reviewer to evaluate and code professional charges, ensure compliance, and support the revenue cycle within Health Information Management. The role requires advanced coding knowledge, attention to CMS guidelines, and the ability to train physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include managing coding reviews, maintaining data quality, and staying current with industry changes.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and medical terminology.
• Thorough understanding of CMS coding and billing guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates medical record documentation and charge reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
• Codes professional charges and performs coding reviews for practices and providers.
• Provides training and ongoing coding education to physicians and staff on coding issues.
• Manages work activities, assignments and schedules for timely information submission; provides data reports.
• Keeps up to date with coding changes via bulletins, newsletters and workshops.
• Demonstrates dependability, teamwork and patient confidentiality; builds relationships with providers and staff.
• Attends departmental meetings and pursues CEUs; completes other duties as requested.
