Dilkon Medical Center | Winslow Indian Health Care is seeking a Health Information Management Clerk to support patient services and maintain accurate EHR records. You will scan documents, perform audits, and distribute charts across WIHCC clinics while upholding confidentiality and privacy standards.

This role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle ROI requests with discretion in a patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare or 6 months organizing medical records.
• RHIT certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Navajo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan/import documents into patients' electronic health records (EHR).
• Audit scanned documents and ensure accurate chart data.
• Distribute patient documents to clinics and departments.
• Reactivate and resolve duplicate charts in a timely manner.
• Assist with ROI requests, entering disclosures in RPMS.
• Provide receptionist support: answer calls, direct visitors, and guide patient flow.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and Privacy Act requirements.
