Job summary

The City of New Orleans Government seeks a Health Equity Program Lead to manage and oversee Community Health Programs for the Minority Health grant. You will support the Health & Equity Strategist in communicating with grant partners, coordinating outreach, and ensuring timely reporting of performance data in line with funding guidelines.

The role may include health equity trainings, stakeholder coordination, and ongoing relationship maintenance with partners to advance program goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences or related field.
  • Four years of professional experience in project or program management in health care or public health.
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and daily operational oversight of Community Health Programs for Minority Health grant.
  • Assist Health & Equity Strategist to assure efficient and timely communication with grant partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct community outreach related to the grant and assure timely reporting of performance documents per funding guidelines.
  • May participate in and facilitate health equity trainings and coordinate relationships with stakeholders.
