Job summary

The University of Virginia Health Development Office seeks an Associate Director or Senior Associate Director, Health Development Partnerships, to advance philanthropic priorities across UVA Health. You will partner with physicians, faculty, and leaders to translate clinical priorities into fundraising opportunities and connect donors with UVA Health’s people, programs, and discoveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum four years in healthcare, fundraising, or related field.
• Proven relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ethics, judgment, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic partnerships with physicians, faculty, and leaders to advance philanthropic priorities.
• Develop and manage a philanthropic pipeline with patient referrals and donor engagement strategies.
• Advance donor engagement through tailored meetings, site visits, and program storytelling.
