One Community Health Sacramento seeks an Assistant Health Center Manager to support daily clinic operations and ensure patient-centered care in alignment with FQHC standards.

The role collaborates with the Health Center Manager and support staff to maintain smooth workflows, oversee staffing, training, audits, and patient services while promoting a positive, compliant environment in Midtown–Sacramento.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare administrative role.
• Strong understanding of clinic operations and workflows.
• Experience managing scheduling systems and staff coordination.

Responsabilités

• Support Health Center Manager in daily operations to ensure seamless clinic flow.
• Monitor appointment schedules, cancellations, no-shows, and rebookings to maximize utilization and minimize patient wait times.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, building security, and alarm systems.
• Ensure shifts are staffed and front/back desk staff are coordinated; adjust schedules as needed.
• Review and manage PSR schedules for accuracy and coverage.
• Provide on-the-ground guidance to PSRs for adherence to workflows.
• Ensure PSRs run eligibility checks and collect correct demographics.
• Monitor patient schedules and reschedule no-shows/cancellations promptly.
• Improve PCP continuity by supporting panel management and follow-up processes.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff.
• Provide orientation for new hires and site tours, equipment and staff role familiarization.
• Track attendance and timekeeping for payroll; ensure timely submissions.
• Manage provider productivity and find coverage for uncovered clinic hours.
• Facilitate communication between shifts and departments for consistent workflows.
• Assist with evaluations, staff performance reviews, and new workflow implementations.
• Escalate issues to Health Center Manager or HR when needed.
• Assist with audits, HIPAA/safety walkthroughs, and quality reviews.
• Prepare and submit weekly Operations Reports and other documentation.
• Monitor check-in processes and patient flow to reduce wait times.
• Support resolution of patient and staff complaints and act as patient advocate.
