Job summary

Langara College is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Health Care Assistant program within Continuing Studies. The role involves designing, developing, promoting, implementing and evaluating programs, identifying student needs, and coordinating faculty and schedules.

You will oversee budgeting, recruitment of instructors, and ensuring enrollment targets are met, while aligning with Langara’s standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education or related discipline is required.
• Experience in program design, scheduling and budgeting is expected.
• Ability to teach or coordinate adult education programs is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and evaluation of Continuing Studies programs.
• Recruit and supervise instructors and program staff.
• Manage program budgets and tuition/funding negotiations.
• Support student inquiries and marketing efforts for programs.
• Prepare reports on enrollment and outcomes.
