Job summary

Marsh’s Health & Benefits internship in Tampa invites driven students to join the People and Investments team for a structured summer program. You will work on healthcare claims analysis, data-driven insights, and project support to help clients meet employer objectives.

You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, develop reporting and presentation skills, and gain exposure to benchmarking and communications in a leading global risk, reinsurance and advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, health administration, health policy, or a related major.
• Current enrollment with expected graduation date Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Preferred minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization for duration of internship.
• Ability to work Monday, June 7th through Friday, August 13th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze healthcare claims and utilization data, including cost projections and evaluations.
• Support the RFP process on behalf of clients.
• Assist senior consultants in reviewing client needs and supporting implementation strategies.
• Model employee benefit contributions to meet employer objectives.
• Help prepare client deliverables and communications (reports, spreadsheets, presentations).
• Support the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans to create benchmarks.
