Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a Health Benefits Business Development Officer to drive growth by building employer relationships focused on HSA and health benefit solutions. This role uses a consultative sales approach with prospects, partners, and clients to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will expand market share, strengthen client relationships, lead RFP responses, and represent the bank at events while staying current on HSA, TPA, and COBRA offerings and ensuring adherence to risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
• 3+ years of demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management.
• Ability to obtain required internal certifications within 6 months.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by developing employer relationships for HSA and health benefit solutions.
• Build and manage partnerships with brokers, centers of influence, and internal banking teams.
• Expand existing client relationships through cross-selling the full suite of health and banking services.
• Lead and coordinate RFP responses to win new business opportunities.
• Represent the bank at community and industry events to build brand presence and generate leads.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in HSA, TPA, and COBRA offerings.
• Ensure all client relationships align with risk, compliance, and company policies.
