How You Will Make an Impact:

The Health and Safety Analyst will be part of a small, highly engaged team working across all business lines to support assigned projects and customers in all matters related to health and safety data analytics. Your mission is to create value by utilizing internal and external resources and applications to compile, contrast, and compare data sets, and to formulate this information into clear, professional presentation materials.

Reporting to the Vice President of Safety and Risk and collaborating with a team of safety experts with extensive industry experience, knowledge sharing is fundamental to our activities—aimed at driving performance and customer satisfaction. Some travel to customer sites will be required to understand data requirements, perform needs analysis, and present findings. No two projects are alike, and your day will be dynamic, with an expectation to work efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and monitor safety programs, incident management, behavior-based observations, investigations, audits, and KPIs using relevant tools.
  2. Conduct analytical reviews, audits, and safety report trending; perform gap analyses and evaluate activity deficiencies.
  3. Maintain records, reports, and documents to meet corporate and regulatory requirements, including injuries, near misses, environmental releases, and training documentation.
  4. Gather, review, distribute, and archive safety data; prepare initial documentation for bid packages.
  5. Research safety regulatory issues and industry-wide safety information.
  6. Assist in developing policies, procedures, and standards; collaborate with the corporate safety team and other divisions.
  7. Support safety team functions, including staffing needs, calculations, and safety meeting organization.
  8. Prioritize and manage multiple projects within deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail.
  9. Offer creative solutions and demonstrate resourceful problem-solving skills.
  10. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Business Intelligence Analytics, or Statistics.
  11. Have at least 3 years of experience in an analytical role supporting operations, safety, HR, or business development teams.
  12. Experience supporting safety functions in energy or construction environments is preferred.
  13. Proficient in analytic tools such as ISNetworld, Veriforce, PowerBI, Tableau, and Pi.
  14. Capable of using qualitative and quantitative techniques for performance reporting and data analysis.
  15. Skilled in implementing data visualization tools to facilitate data understanding.
  16. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  17. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  18. Ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  19. Demonstrate leadership, motivation, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  20. Passionate about data, detail-oriented, and a strategic thinker.
  21. Active listener and team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
