Aon Corporation is seeking an Hands-on Assistant Vice President to lead causal inference and predictive modeling for US Health Analytics, applying rigorous methods and coordinating across global teams.

You will design and validate models, drive end-to-end MLOps practices, and present findings to senior stakeholders. The role requires strong Python/SQL expertise, 7+ years in health analytics, and onsite collaboration in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of total experience in health analytics or health insurance.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics or medical economics, including model training and validation.
• Hands-on experience building, tuning, and interpreting tabular predictive models with feature engineering.
• Experience with causal inference on observational health data, including matched cohort and propensity score methods.
• Knowledge of US health data standards (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, DRG).

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver causal inference and predictive modeling workstreams for the US Health Analytics practice, maintaining methodological rigor.
• Partner with ABS, cloud architects, and offshore teams to align on data pipelines, model architecture, and deployment standards.
• Coordinate delivery across locations and time zones and move models from development to production.
• Design, build, and tune predictive models using gradient-boosted methods and statistical techniques for use cases like cost forecasting and risk stratification.
• Document methods, data definitions, and results thoroughly (write-ups, appendices, model cards, reproducible records).
• Present findings clearly to clients, carriers, consultants, and senior leaders via polished reports and presentations.
• Ensure MLOps and model governance end-to-end: CI/CD, drift and performance monitoring, model registries, and risk documentation.
• Mentor data scientists and lead multiple projects with clear priorities and milestones.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across health actuarial, consulting, clinical, and innovation practice areas.
