ADP seeks a Director, Actuary in Health & Wealth Benefits to lead actuarial analyses, pricing, and risk assessment. You will collaborate with data scientists and cross‑functional teams to develop pricing models, forecasts, and regulatory compliance across health and wealth offerings.

The role requires 12+ years in actuarial roles, ASA, and a strong health insurance background; remote/hybrid work options are available with a balance of office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of actuary experience with health insurance background.
• ASA designation and a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Experience with cloud database technologies (e.g., AWS) and cloud analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, MATLAB, R, or similar.
• Ability to communicate with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of pricing, reserving, and forecasting in healthcare actuarial practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experience studies and identify actionable insights for subscriber behavior improvements.
• Analyze carrier cost ratios and identify opportunities for improvement for new and existing clients.
• Gather benchmarks for performance assessment and improvement potential.
• Prepare and present actuarial reports to senior leadership with clear recommendations.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to create roadmaps and execute plans in agile environments.
• Mentor junior team members within matrix pods on Advanced Analytics initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends, actuarial methodologies, and compliance in SOX/HIPAA.
