Aon is seeking a Health and Benefits Actuarial Vice President in the United States to lead client teams on health benefits projects, influence strategic direction, and mentor junior actuaries.

The role requires FSA/ASA, 10+ years of industry experience, strong project and client relation skills, and the ability to present actuarial results to executives. Hybrid work with 2-3 days in the office; salary range $190k-$235k.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuary on client teams and manage actuarial projects.
• Influence strategic and financial direction for health benefits.
• Project savings/costs related to health benefits changes.
• Mentor and develop less experienced actuaries.
• Review healthcare budgets and contribution settings.
• Prepare statements of actuarial opinions and lead analyses.
• Present results to clients and lead financial meetings.
• Benchmark with clients and advise on strategy evolution.
• Perform IBNP reserve development and model reviews.
• Ensure peer review for high-quality deliverables.
