Job summary

Last Bottle Wines is seeking a seasoned Shopify frontend full-stack engineer to own the storefront layer end-to-end, from Liquid themes to backend integrations with Linnworks and WeShip. This role focuses on headless commerce features, checkout extensions, and multi-brand deployments.

You will build Python/React middleware, design GraphQL integrations, and own data pipelines for analytics. Remote-first with optional Napa in-person collaboration and wine purchase perks accompany a strong

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Shopify theme development (Liquid, Dawn or equivalent).
• Shopify Plus experience — multi-store, B2B, Checkout Extensibility.
• Proficient in Python 3.x for backend services (FastAPI a strong plus).
• REST and GraphQL API design and consumption.
• Experience with headless commerce architectures (Storefront API, Cart API).
• Supabase or PostgreSQL for data modeling and querying.
• Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and production deployment discipline.
• Ability to read Shopify Admin API GraphQL mutations.

Responsibilities

• Own storefront and theme development across LBW Shopify Plus sites.
• Build Shopify Functions and Checkout Extensions; implement metafield schemas.
• Develop Python/React middleware for Storefront and Cart APIs.
• Maintain GraphQL integrations with Shopify Admin API and webhooks.
• Contribute to headless subscription infrastructure (Stripe-based).
• Extend Linnworks integrations and multi-brand deployment workflows.
• Document architecture decisions and support security reviews.
