Sanctuary Computer is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer to join our design and development team working remotely in the United States. You’ll build pixel-perfect storefronts from Liquid themes to headless Hydrogen/Remix implementations, collaborating with designers and technical leads.

You’ll optimize performance, ensure accessibility, and integrate with CMSs like Sanity or Contentful, payment gateways, and Shopify APIs. We value autonomy, deep frontend expertise, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years writing highly performant frontend code with focus on Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals.
• Proven Shopify experience: themes (Liquid, Online Store 2.0) and headless storefronts.
• Proficient with TypeScript and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS Modules).
• Experience integrating Shopify with headless CMSs and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leads and designers to meet e-commerce needs.
• Build high-performance storefronts using Liquid and headless frameworks (Hydrogen/Remix, Next.js).
• Implement accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces per design specs.
• Integrate with CMSs, payments, subscriptions, and external APIs.
