Job summary

Lago is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to maintain and improve a headless ecommerce storefront built with Shopify Hydrogen, React, and GraphQL. This remote role focuses on frontend development and integrates with Shopify data, Storyblok, and Algolia to deliver polished ecommerce experiences.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Shopify Hydrogen experience, strong React skills, and a track record of building scalable frontend architectures in headless environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ hands-on professional experience with Shopify Hydrogen, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience developing headless ecommerce storefronts.
• 3+ years of experience with Shopify Storefront API.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve custom Shopify Hydrogen storefront using React and React Router.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with Shopify Storefront API, GraphQL, collections, products, variants, metafields.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive ecommerce experiences.
• Evaluate feature feasibility and alternatives when API or platform limits exist.
