Job summary

Evolent Health LLC is seeking an ERP & People Systems Architect to define target-state architecture for Workday Financials and HCM and related systems. This hands-on leader will craft standards, reusable patterns, and proofs of concept, collaborating with Finance, Talent, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure architectural integrity.

The role focuses on API-first, headless ERP experiences, data ownership, and cloud SaaS strategy, balancing cost, risk, and control.

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise applications, ERP, or solution architecture with finance/people systems experience.
Hands-on Workday expertise (Financials or HCM) with integration experience.
Strong SQL, data movement, and data lineage capabilities.
Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and data security practices.
Ability to produce architecture artifacts and communicate trade-offs.

Responsibilities

Define target-state architecture for ERP and people systems with roadmaps.
Decide configuration, integration, or extension approaches; lead major redesigns.
Own integration architecture across Workday and connected systems.
Design AI-enabled ERP features, security models, and data governance.
Produce diagrams, data-flow designs, and nonfunctional requirements.
