Leoforce in Orange, CA is seeking an experienced Header Machinist to set up, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will produce high-quality precision components while reading engineering drawings and performing in-process inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up cold heading machinery.
• Experience using precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading machines to meet production requirements.
• Manufacture quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Monitor production processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Gather and review production documentation, tooling drawings, schedules, and work orders.
• Accurately record production output and setup activity within the production tracking system.
• Identify and report equipment issues, tooling concerns, material discrepancies, and process abnormalities.
