Job summary

Meta is seeking a Headcount Strategy professional to join the FP&A team in Austin, TX. You will own the headcount plan and budget, forecast needs, and explain variances to Finance leadership based on detailed analytics.

You will build dynamic models in Excel/Sheets, work with large datasets, and collaborate with HR systems and cross-functional partners to drive strategic staffing decisions and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of finance or FP&A experience.
• Experience with headcount/workforce planning and budgeting.
• Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills.
• Excel/Google Sheets modeling experience.
• Experience with large datasets and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Ability to synthesize data into concise narratives.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with compensation modeling.
• Experience with HR data systems (Workday/ADP).
• Experience with SQL or similar data querying.
• Experience with Oracle EPM.
• MBA or graduate degree.
• Experience implementing responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Own core pieces of headcount plan and headcount budget.
• Develop dynamic models and dashboards for planning.
• Track hiring against budget and explain variances.
• Provide analytics and insights for strategic initiatives.
• Support long-range planning and rolling forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Lead multiple workstreams end-to-end.
