The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree with 2–4 years in healthcare program support and is bilingual in English and Spanish. The position includes administrative oversight, scheduling, and insurance authorizations, working days and full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Sports, Business, or Healthcare.
• 2-4 years of program support experience in a healthcare environment or athletic training setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in the Program’s multidisciplinary clinics, school screenings, community events, and related activities.
• Attend community events and touch points to promote the program.
• Coordinate adult transition, send requests with last clinic notes.
• Host quarterly clinic flow meetings with providers for each program.
• Obtain prior authorization for high-cost drugs and coordinate drug shipments.
• Schedule EMG, NCV and Botox in MPS/Radiology; arrange pre-clinic huddles.
• Manage clinic schedules and testing (MRI, EEG, VEEG) and verify insurances.
• Enter patient demographics in EHS and secure authorization and testing details.
• Distribute relevant medical data and ensure MD approvals and follow-ups.
• Submit parent questionnaires and referrals; ensure MD approval for clinic visits.
• Coordinate test authorizations (EEG, EP, NCV, EMG, polysomnograms).
• Provide coverage and support to other departments as needed.
• Arrange patient education events and community partnerships.
