Job summary

Massachusetts Maritime Academy is seeking a Women's Recruiting Coordinator and Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This role leads talent identification and recruitment, serving as a liaison between prospective student-athletes and coaches while supporting all women’s programs.

Responsibilities include building relationships with high school coaches, evaluating prospects, coordinating campus visits, and traveling across New England.

Qualifications

• This position requires prior coaching experience in lacrosse or a similar sport.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit talented female student-athletes for Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
• Build relationships with high school coaches and clubs to scout recruits.
• Attend events to evaluate and engage potential student-athletes.
• Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes.
• Travel long distances to locations in and outside New England.
• Manage the women's lacrosse program and related duties.
• Organize fundraising, team-building and community outreach events.
• Teach lacrosse skills and communicate strategies.
• Develop clinics, camps, and ID events to enhance recruiting.
• Ensure compliance with Academy, NCAA and MASCAC policies.
• Attend home games and perform event management as directed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
