Job summary

Leader Bank is seeking a Head Teller for its Boston Seaport branches. You will support the branch in achieving sales and service goals by delivering outstanding customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include handling teller duties, opening accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining secure cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of retail banking or sales/service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work Saturdays/evenings.
• Proficient with banking applications; basic PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform all teller transactions, balance cash drawer, and settlement procedures.
• Open and service accounts; handle deposits and withdrawals.
• Sell and refer bank products and services per guidelines.
• Build customer relationships and promote referrals.
• Adhere to security, compliance, and BSA requirements.

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, this position is responsible for conducting financial transactions between the Bank and its customers, encouraging sales and referrals of bank products, and providing superior service in a highly professional manner.This position will be based from both of Leader Bank's Boston Seaport Branches located on 200 Seaport Boulevard and 48 Northern Avenue depending on business needs.ResponsibilitiesMaintains a high level of understanding of all products and services provided by the Bank.Maintains a high level of service quality by acknowledging the customer’s presence through a professional greeting and developing an interpersonal relationship built upon an understanding of customer needs. Conveys to customers an eagerness / willingness to help.Meets customer needs through problem solving techniques as required.Sells and refers Bank products and services within the guidelines established by the Bank. Follows up with prospects by asking for their business. Maintains referral documentation and actively participates in sales promotions.Conducts business in a professional manner and maintains a neat and orderly work area.Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with all Bank employees.Participates in community projects and organizations as requested.
