Responsibilities

• Supervise Teachers with daily operations in the center classroom and plan the learning environment, daily routine, and activities.
• Ensure the safety of all children through proper supervision and a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Collaborate with Teachers to develop activities promoting children's interests and skill development across domains.
• Provide opportunities for teachers to grow through trainings and family interactions.
• Assist in completion of developmental screenings for all children.
• Support family engagement and male involvement activities throughout the program year.
• Conduct home visits, plans and conferences to support intentional learning strategies.
• Master regulatory requirements to keep the facility safe and highly rated.

Wages are based on education. Candidates with one year of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or two years of experience and associate’s degree in a related field qualify.Description: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Teachers, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. With a related Associate’s Degree or higher and one or two years of experience, you can lead your teachers in a Head Start classroom, preparing children for kindergarten and collaborating with the team of dedicated professionals who work with you and the families to surmount all obstacles to successful education and stability.
