Paycom - ATS seeks a Head Teacher in Piqua, OH to lead preschool classrooms within the Head Start program. You will supervise teachers, plan activities, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for children preparing for kindergarten.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE with 1 year of teaching experience or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience with an Associate’s degree in ECE qualifies.
• Willingness to perform child safety checks and travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Teachers with daily classroom operations and learning environment setup.

Wages are based on education. Candidates with one year of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or two years of experience and associate’s degree in a related field qualify.Description: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Teachers, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. With a related Associate’s Degree or higher and one or two years of experience, you can lead your teachers in a Head Start classroom, preparing children for kindergarten and collaborating with the team of dedicated professionals who work with you and the families to surmount all obstacles to successful education and stability.
