Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs duties according to Head Start and Porter-Leath standards in kitchen and classroom.
• Provides classroom coverage and acts as primary caregiver for one group when needed.
• Plans developmentally appropriate activities for one classroom.
• Mentors families and supports positive teacher-child interactions.
• Maintains communication with staff and ensures a safe learning environment.
• Assists with health, nutrition, disability, and education services to children and families.
• Assists with daily education procedures and ensures age-appropriate activities.
