Job summary

Child Start Inc is seeking a Teacher Aide to join our Head Start classroom team. The role supports planning and initiating meaningful learning activities for children aged 3-5, assists the teacher with class activities, environment upkeep, and supervision, and may help with planning and records.

This position runs August through June as a 10-month assignment. Ideal candidates hold a CDA credential or an Associate in Early Childhood Education, with 3 months of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CDA Credential required
• Associate in Early Childhood Education also acceptable
• Three (3) months of experience with children ages 3-5 preferred
• Ability to work at any center regardless of location
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must possess valid driver's license and insured automobile
• Must obtain physical and TB skin test and pass criminal history checks and E-Verify

• Must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid within 30 days of employment
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must possess valid driver's license and insured automobile
• Must obtain a physical and TB skin test and must pass all criminal history background checks and E-Verify
