The Lourie Center Head Start program within Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Head Start Teacher I to support high-quality early learning for children birth to five. • CDA certification required (Assoc. Art in Child Development or related field).
• Minimum of 2 years of direct work with children in an approved setting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for children.
• Provide emotional support and encourage autonomy and expression.
• Analyze assessment data to guide curriculum and individual/group planning.
• Implement curriculum using varied modalities for developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Maintain accurate written records and documentation for transitions and parent visits.
• Apply behavior management strategies and maintain positive classroom climate.
• Attend trainings and participate in coaching cycles with an assigned coach.
