Job summary

Paylocity is seeking Head Start Substitutes to support teachers and help create a safe, nurturing environment for young children in Bloomsburg, Berwick, and Benton. If you love working with kids, are reliable, and enjoy hands-on activities, this role could be a great fit for you.

Typical shifts run 7:30am–3:30pm but may vary. You’ll assist teachers with developmentally appropriate activities, supervise children, and help maintain a clean, inviting classroom while following established policies

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with young children.
• Flexibility to step in and assist as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
• Provide attentive supervision and engage children in meaningful interactions.
• Communicate positively with children, families, and team members.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Follow established policies and licensing regulations.
