Job summary

CAPE of Evansville & Vanderburgh County Inc. seeks a Teacher Float to support Head Start classrooms across multiple sites in Evansville, IN. You will work with lead teachers to promote school readiness, safety, and nurturing environments for children.

This full-time contract position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with preferred Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, plus experience in Head Start. CPR/First Aid and flexible classroom coverage are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• Requires associate's or bachelor's in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Experience in Head Start or early childhood education preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across multiple Head Start classrooms and sites
• Assist lead/associate teachers to support school readiness goals
