Job summary

Grand Portage Head Start is hiring a kitchen assistant to help prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for Early Head Start and Preschool programs. You will keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and organized, assist with inventory and purchasing of food and related items, and perform routine cleaning tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and some cooking experience or training; light computer skills are a plus.

• Cooking experience and/or training.
• Light computer skills beneficial.
