Qualifications

• Must have Infant-Toddler CDA or equivalent; enrollment in Infant-Toddler CDA program encouraged.
• Must meet NJ/PA licensing standards.
• Car required daily.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate assigned classroom to meet Head Start standards and state licensing.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities; submit weekly lesson plans.
• Provide infant-toddler caregiving routines in primary setting.
• Observe, assess, document each child's growth and maintain records.
• Ensure services to children with special needs are implemented.
• Maintain child safety, report accidents/abuse/health concerns to supervisor.
• Prepare records/reports; manage sign-in/out and monthly Parent Center Committee reports.
• Involve parents in classroom activities and quarterly educational planning sessions.
• Visit homes at least twice per program year; conduct two parent/teacher conferences.
• Attend training sessions; assist with on-site staff training as requested.
• Support Head Teacher/Director with delegated administrative duties.
