Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Grants Management Specialist to provide ongoing, prompt and accurate fiscal assistance to Head Start and Early Head Start grantees. The role supports Federal staff with high-quality grants management services, including preparing and tracking grants, monitoring documents, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with preference for Accounting/Business Management or related field.
• 2+ years progressive professional experience in federal discretionary grants management or related financial management and compliance.
• 1+ years aggregating, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple sources.
• 1+ years with administration of discretionary grants; Head Start/Early Head Start exposure preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and prepare continuation FAAs 30 days before grantee refunding date.
• Prepare grants through review and funding processes; track deliverables and closeouts.
• Monitor timeliness and accuracy of grant documents and financial reports.
• Communicate with grantees and program staff to resolve issues and prepare briefing materials.
• Coordinate grant closeouts and ensure proper reporting and auditing reviews.
