Job summary

ICF International seeks an experienced Grants Management Specialist to provide ongoing, prompt and accurate fiscal assistance to Head Start and Early Head Start grantees, and to support Federal staff with high-quality grants management services.

The role involves preparing and tracking grants through review and funding processes, monitoring grant documents for accuracy, resolving issues, and preparing grant closeouts with close attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Business.
• 2+ years in federal discretionary grants management and compliance.
• 1+ years collecting and presenting data from multiple sources.
• Experience with Grants Solutions is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review grant applications and ensure funding 30 days before refunding date.
• Prepare continuation FAAs with cover letters and tracking, using Grants Solutions.
• Monitor timeliness and accuracy of grant applications and financial reports.
• Correspond with grantee staff regularly to resolve issues.
• Evaluate fiscal performance and audit findings; support closeouts.
• Prepare grant closeouts, including checklists and closeout letters.
