Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Grants Management Specialist to support Head Start and Early Head Start grantees with fiscal grants management and compliance. The role handles grant review, tracking, closeouts, and coordination with federal staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Responsibilities include preparing FAAs and closeouts, monitoring grant documents, and resolving issues while adhering to funding timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college; preference for Accounting/Business-related field.
• 2+ years of progressive professional experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with federal discretionary grants management and regulatory compliance.
• 1+ years’ experience aggregating, analyzing, charting and reporting data from multiple sources.
• 1+ years’ experience with discretionary grants administration; Head Start/Early Head Start preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Review and act on applications to fund grants 30 days before grantee refunding dates; prepare FAAs with cover letters.
• Produce and track grants through review and funding; coordinate with grantees and staff; prepare award docs in Grants Solutions.
• Monitor timeliness and accuracy of grant applications, financial reports, and fund draws.
• Correspond with grantee staff regularly and resolve issues.
• Monitor fiscal performance, required reports, wage studies, and audit findings; resolve complaints.
• Prepare grant closeouts with checklists, closing letters, and Grants Solutions processing.
