Job summary

Center for Transforming Lives in Fort Worth seeks a Head Start Education Coordinator to guide educational services and ensure school readiness for enrolled families. You will mentor staff, supervise mentor coaches, and monitor fidelity of tools and curricula.

The role emphasizes culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate practices aligned with Head Start standards. Qualifications include a BA/BS or MA in ECE or related field, 3–5 years coordinating/mentoring in child development settings,

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a closely related field.
• Three to five years of experience coordinating, coaching, mentoring in a child development/classroom setting.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices in early childhood development and related fields.
• Apply Head Start standards and performance requirements with fidelity.
• Promote effective teaching practices according to Head Start standards and guidelines.
• Supervise classroom practices, schedules, routines and transitions per program policies.
• Participate in CTL meetings and committees as required.
• Promote a unified, team-oriented communication culture.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and hiring of staff.
• Plan and present training sessions on relevant child development topics.
• Provide direct supervision to mentor coaches.
• Stay current on evidence-based early childhood education practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
