Job summary

Family Service is looking for an Education Coach based in San Antonio, Texas, who will provide consultation, coaching, mentoring, and training to Head Start staff to support school readiness. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, three years of teaching experience, and familiarity with community needs assessment.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience teaching in an early childhood education program required.
• Knowledge of research-based early childhood education curriculum.
• Working knowledge of technology for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to early childhood teachers.
• Collaborate with the Education Coordinator to enhance educational policies.
• Conduct evaluations and observations to support teachers' development.

Skills

Training in Early Childhood Education

Knowledge of NAEYC guidelines

Fluency in English and Spanish

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
